- DipHIC (BCPC)
- UKCP Full Clinical Psychotherapeutic Counsellor (Accredited)
Many of us reach a stage in our lives when our behaviour, thoughts, difference or circumstances seem to hold us back from allowing a full, enriching and rewarding life.
We might experience different levels of difficulty as a result, from confusion, numbness, and lack of purpose, to paralysing and overwhelming feelings such as grief or fear.
If movement seems to be impossible – no matter how much you try – a route towards change, and towards really living is through therapy.
Often, within the solitariness of our own minds, we continually work and re-work a problem, repeating a pattern without change, and getting stuck in a recurring cycle.
Working with me, we open space for you to find the courage and the opportunity to pause, listen to your needs and desires, and explore the complicated underlying obstacles that prevent you from making positive change.
We lean in to new ways of gaining understanding; exploring how you relate to the world around you (and to yourself), or how your difficulties might manifest in the body through pain or dysfunction, or using creativity to bring to light how your past may still be impacting your present. The strength, warmth and safety that I commit to provide a basis for embracing discovery and change.
I offer you unconditional positive regard and the opportunity to meet me as yourself, to express yourself free from judgement. Alongside you, I help you to re-engage with a life that is yours to be lived, consciously.
